Day 1 of freedom
So I left my job recently, and I've been working out a list of things to get through to improve my work in the next 6 months of projected free time. One thing I'm trying to do is to update the blog with something, a sketch, a painting, anything, as often as possible. Here's something to commemorate the first day:
A 1 hr practice sketch from photo ref. I'm not feeling this one, didn't capture the texture of the graham crust/dough very well. Flakes of chocolate are also a bitch to 'suggest', I think I wasted a bunch of time trying out different brushes that just ended up failing. Ahh good old round brush. <3

I personaly think it looks really good and yummy! You are really good at this! (and nice meeting you in Toronto for the Japan event, I was there with my boyfriend Benoit, from Montreal) ;o)
